How To Wash My Caravan or Motorhome?

Ceramic Safe Wash | How To

What You'll Need

  • Ceramic Safe Wash
  • Bucket &/or FoamCannon
  • Wash Brush
  • Hose + Water

Step 1: Preparation

  1. Pick a Shaded Spot: If possible park your vehicle out of direct sunlight to prevent the solution from drying too fast.
  2. Pre-Rinse: Use a hose to remove loose dirt, dust, and grime. Start at the top and work down.
  3. Clean Your Tools: Ensure your mitt, sponge, or brushes are free of grit to protect your gelcoat and or ceramic coating.

How To Use It: Bucket Method

  1. Mix the solution: Add 1 part to 10 parts water and up to 20 parts water.
    1. Light cleaning (dust, light dirt): 20 parts water.
    2. Heavy grime (bugs, salt, grease): 10 parts water.
  2. Extra Bucket: Fill an extra bucket with just water to wash your brush mid wash.
  3. Wash in Sections: Dip your mitt or brush into the solution. Start at the top and work down, using gentle circles.
  4. Tackle Tough Spots: For stubborn bugs or dirt, let the solution sit for 30-60 seconds, then lightly scrub—Ceramic Safe formula cuts through grease gradually.
  5. Rinse Your Brush: Dunk it in clean water often to flush out dirt and avoid scratches.
  6. Rinse Off: Hose from top to bottom to remove all suds and dirt.

How To Use It: FoamCannon Method

    1. Load the Cannon: Pour 50-100ml of Ceramic Safe Wash into your snow foam cannon (adjust based on cannon size), then fill with water.
    2. Foam It Up: Spray a thick, even layer of foam over the vehicle, starting at the top. Let it dwell for 1-2 minutes to loosen grime.
    3. Rinse Off: Use a hose to blast off the foam and dirt, working top to bottom.
    4. Optional Hand Wash: For extra cleaning (e.g., heavy grime), follow up with the bucket method after rinsing off the foam.
